Betty L. Zimmermann, 97, of Fort Wayne, passed away on August 10, 2017. Born on April 29, 1920, in Vallonia, she was a daughter of the late Rev. John G. and Elizabeth (Limbeck) Jeske. A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, the Ladies Aid and the Lutheran Womens Missionary League. A graduate of Lawrence University, BS, she received her Master's Degree from Indiana University; and retired from Parkview Memorial Hospital in 1982, as the Director of Occupational Therapy after 15 years of service.

She is survived by her daughter, Ruth (Jim) Boller; sons, John (Jill) Zimmermann, Rev. Paul (Laura) Zimmermann and Phillip (Jo) Zimmermann; six grandsons and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Huwiler and Faith (Rev. Mike) Kell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Rev. Ellwood H Zimmermann; and brother, Rev. John Jeske.
Funeral service will be 1pm, Tuesday, August 15, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne with calling from 11am to 1pm, prior to service. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to LCMS World Missions, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne or TimeOfGrace.org.
